The order of operations is:
1st - Parentheses (Grouping symbols are always done from the innermost set outward.)
2nd - Exponents
3rd - Multiplication & Division (These operations are done in the order they appear from left to right. They are done together because they have the same importance)
4th - Addition & Subtraction (These operations are done in the order that they appear from left to right)
